Barista — Part-Time

Gong Cha is a global bubble tea brand with locations around the world, known for quality tea, freshly prepared drinks, and great customer service.

We are currently hiring part-time baristas for our Ridgewood location. No bubble tea experience is necessary — we provide training. Competitive hourly wage plus shared tips.

IMPORTANT AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENT

We are specifically looking for someone with open availability Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons/evenings.

Typical shifts are:

• 2:00 PM – Closing
• 4:00 PM – Closing

Depending on the weekly schedule, you may be scheduled 1–3 shifts per week, including sometimes all three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Please apply only if you can reliably work these weekend closing shifts.

What You'll Do

• Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient service
• Prepare drinks accurately according to recipes and standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep ingredients and supplies stocked throughout your shift
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with inventory and daily counts
• Complete closing duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and punctual
• Strong customer service skills
• Clear English communication
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently once fully trained
• Food service, café, or barista experience is preferred but not required
• Must have reliable availability Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for 2 PM–Closing or 4 PM–Closing shifts, with occasional morning availability as well
