Description

Green Street seeks highly motivated candidates to join its well-respected, experienced and growing Advisory and Consulting team. Our Advisory and Consulting team provides custom research to clients in support of their investment strategy and transactions. Employees work as generalists across asset classes and European geographies, providing the successful candidate with the unique opportunity to develop breadth and depth across the diverse real estate landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering and analysing economic, demographic and real estate market data
  • Generating creative ideas and solutions to address challenging questions
  • Taking a lead role in building client presentations
  • Preparing business development and ad hoc presentations
  • Building financial models and using multiple valuation methodologies, including Green Street’s proprietary pricing model
  • Developing and applying real estate and capital markets knowledge to execute complex client engagements
  • Closely following and understanding real estate equity market and company activity to augment business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher with high distinction in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field from a top-tier school
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills: 0 - 1 years of experience in conducting financial/economic research, building financial models and/or valuing publicly traded securities either through work experience or university studies (including internships)
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional research and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Highly detail focused
  • The ability to multi-task effectively while maintaining accuracy
  • A high degree of organization, creativity, and resourcefulness
  • A strong work ethic and motivation to learn
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of intellectual curiosity
  • Embracing the Company’s culture, which emphasizes high standards for our work product and teamwork
  • Maintaining complete confidentiality with regard to client details and material non-public information

The work environment within the Advisory and Consulting Group is results driven and to meet client deadlines, there will be the need to work beyond normal business hours. Green Street offers a flexible working environment to allow employees to manage their personal and work commitments effectively. The team in London is small, friendly and with a group of highly dedicated professionals. Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United Kingdom without future sponsorship required.
