Description

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing existing relationships with our strategic clients. You will create and execute account plans designed to grow the overall value your clients receive from Green Street by expanding use cases, identifying new user groups for growth opportunities, and increasing user adoption across product offerings. Ultimately you will be responsible for owning the renewal process and outcomes, driving increased revenue each year.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement account plans to grow complex, strategic clients (approximately $5M+ in annual recurring revenue).
  • Renew existing accounts with increased service levels and pricing.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell current accounts with additional news and research offerings.
  • Establish strong relationships with users, decision makers, and influencers at each account.
  • Drive adoption of Green Street’s platform through direct meetings and user training.
  • Develop strategy and focus to displace competitors.
  • Lead client meetings (both in-person and virtual) with members of the Green Street Executive and Research teams.
  • Provide product feedback from clients to drive product enhancements and new product innovation.
  • Serve as liaison between Green Street and your clients by providing detailed updates on activities (via calls and through Salesforce CRM).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales/account management.
  • Experience in real estate, equities or other capital markets a significant benefit.
  • Financial or technically related quantitative experience a significant benefit.
  • Be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and motivation to learn.
  • Experience negotiating with clients, or a desire to learn
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to engage at all levels across a global business.
  • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to convey complex concepts.
  • Meticulous attention to detail demonstrating exceptional research skills.
  • High level of organizational ability, creativity and resourcefulness.
  • Be a results oriented, proactive self-starter who takes direction well.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to prove, through consistent performance, the ability to handle expanding responsibilities.
  • Working proficiency with European languages would be of interest.
  • Authorization to work in the United Kingdom now and in the future, without visa or sponsorship requirements.

Travel Percentage: Up to 20%
