Position Overview
Lead the launch of a high-impact event portfolio across Australia and Canada, focusing on the real assets financing sector. This is a strategic, growth-oriented role designed for a professional to establish market presence in year one and scale the portfolio globally thereafter. You will identify new business opportunities, cultivate long-term partnerships, and drive revenue growth for our B2B networking platforms.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive Market Momentum: Identify and convert leads to secure immediate sales and pre-orders
- Strategic Prospecting: Build a new account base through multi-channel outreach, networking, and lead generation
- Brand Awareness: Introduce the brand to target audiences, media, and industry influencers to generate pre-launch buzz
- Market Intelligence: Gather real-time feedback from early adopters to refine future event offerings
- Subject Matter Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of real asset finance and sales processes related to IJGlobal and Green Street
- Operational Excellence: Maintain precise Salesforce records for pipeline tracking and provide accurate revenue forecasts
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, editorial, and programming teams to maximize revenue streams
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2+ years in B2B event sales, specifically within event launches or building portfolios from the ground up
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and outreach skills with the ability to engage senior-level influencers and budget holders
- Proactive Mindset: Proven track record in outbound business development and high-volume lead generation
- Collaborative Spirit: Thrives in a team-oriented culture where collective success is celebrated
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
- Sector Knowledge (Desirable): Familiarity with the real estate or infrastructure finance sectors
Compensation, Benefits and Work Authorization
In addition to a basic salary, this position is eligible for commission and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
