Healix, LLC is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our corporate Accounting team in Sugar Land, TX!
This position is required to work in-office. Ideal candidates will have 2 to 4 years’ experience working in an accounting environment with direct knowledge and skills for an AP position. Candidates must have good organizational skills, ability to work in a high-volume and fast paced environment requiring attention to detail, and quick response times. NetSuite, Dynamics and Microsoft Office is preferred. The work environment is a quiet corporate office setting where colleagues work alongside each other as a team!
Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:30am to 5:30pm CST
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- AP coding and entry of assigned vendor invoices into the accounting system.
- Reconciling purchase orders and invoices via a 3-way match process.
- Selecting invoices for payment, cutting checks and attaching approved invoices.
- Filing checks and other AP data in a timely and systematic manner.
- Reconciliation of assigned vendor accounts to statements on a monthly basis.
- Opening, stamping and distribution of accounting mail as assigned.
- Clearing and receiving of AP errors and EDI reconciliation.
- Clearing credit cards and manual orders
- Performs all accounts payable duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least 2 – 4 years’ experience in an AP position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
