Description

Healix Infusion Therapy, LLC is currently seeking a qualified full-time Credentialing Solutions Specialist to join our corporate business office and Payor and New Solutions Team. Currently, the position is a remote work arrangement and qualified candidates must have access to home internet and a dedicated work space free from distractions. Team members must have excellent communication skills and be able to professionally interact with patients, clients, and colleagues.

Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:30am to 5:30pm CST

*Work hours are subject to change based on business needs and with supervisor approval.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Evaluates fee schedule information and provider network status for the business office via correspondence or payor websites.
  • Authorizes login/access to payors’ websites for the business office through client communication and consent.
  • Manage and create portal access for new clients to assist with implementation process.
  • Assists supervisor with contract research, credentialing and contracting projects for physicians and Healix, as needed.
  • Assists supervisor with coordinating provider credentialing activities, including initial credentialing and re-credentialing in accordance with organizational policies and accreditation standards.
  • Review credentialing applications, verify provider credentials, and conduct primary source verification of education, training, licensure, and certifications.
  • Assists supervisor with provider enrollment and contracting processes with payers, managed care organizations, and government agencies to ensure provider participation and reimbursement eligibility.
  • Maintain provider enrollment records, track credentialing status, and communicate with payers regarding provider credentialing and contracting matters.
  • Assists supervisor and management team with all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and one to three years related experience.
