Description

Healix Infusion Therapy is seeking a full-time Packaging Pharmacy Technician for our pharmacy located in Sugar Land, TX.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday; 10:30 am - 7:00 pm.

The Healix Infusion Therapy Pharmacy is an accredited, licensed facility that meets or exceeds United States Pharmacopeia (USP) industry standards, with a focus on chapters USP 797 and USP 800. The pharmacy provides sterile compounded medications for Healix-managed infusion centers nationwide and is committed to quality, patient safety, and precision.

The Healix Pharmacy additionally provides 503A traditional patient-specific pharmacy compounding for hospitals across the country. We offer a variety of therapies and drug delivery options along with clinical pharmacy services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complies with all state and federal laws, rules and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
  • Complies with all Healix policies and procedures affecting scope of responsibilities
  • Performs technical duties as assigned by pharmacists
  • Performs all aspects of labeling, checking and packaging of compounded sterile products utilizing appropriate technique and applicable policies and procedures.
  • Maintains all labeling and packaging equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and policy and procedure.
  • Assists in unpacking and receipt of inventory
  • Hours are for ‘evening’ shift - until 7 PM Monday through Thursday and until 5:30 PM on Friday
  • Routinely lift 15-40 lbs. throughout the work day

ABOUT US

Healix® manages physician-owned office infusion centers and pharmacies nationwide providing in-office treatment and take-home medications for optimal patient comfort and outcomes. Our on-site clinical pharmacy team consists of Clinical Pharmacy Managers and Certified Pharmacy Technicians who provide an array of pharmaceutical care services to patients within Healix-managed office infusion centers across the country. Our pharmacists and technicians are able to enjoy daytime hours within a physician office setting and have direct patient interaction in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Maintains current registrations with Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee.
  • Experience packaging shipments and working with the UPS/FedEx shipping software are strongly preferred
