Healix Infusion Therapy is seeking a Part-Time File Clerk for our pharmacy located in Sugar Land, TX!
Schedule: Monday - Friday; The hours are flexible. About 4 hours in the middle of the day (10:00 am - 2:00 pm). The expectations of work hours for this position are based on business hours/needs and employee availability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilies:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
503A Clerical Responsibilities:
- Maintain pharmacy and patient record organization. Pulls and re-files charts and documentation as required.
- Scans discharge charts into the appropriate electronic medical record
- Organize incoming orders, plans of care, prescriptions records and other documentation on a daily basis.
- Scans and submits delivery receipts for patient acknowledgement
- Assists in review of common carrier invoices and submission for credit.
- Prepare and organize discharged records for storage
- Print site labels as needed.
- Assist in other clerical duties and projects in the pharmacy as needed by the Pharmacy Manager.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintain pharmacy break room; restock water, coffee, plastic ware, etc.
- Assists staff with scanning, copying, faxing and handling of mail as directed.
- Maintains and obtains approval of all weekly office supply requests.
- Oversee access control into the pharmacy and check-in and direct visitors as necessary.
- Assist in other clerical duties and projects in the pharmacy as needed by the Administration Manager.

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills and Abilities:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to type at least 40 wpm and have personal computer experience.
