We envision the responsibilities of this position to include, but not be limited to:

· Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with insurers at a senior level

· Manage, mentor and coach a small team

· Service and manage of your own portfolio of our most valuable clients

· Ensuring a high degree of quality customer service is provided to all clients

· Leading, planning and implementing clear and effective renewal and broking strategies.

· Ensuring that effective account retention and defence strategies are in place for all clients at all times to promote client retention

· Maintaining an active and direct involvement in all claim related matters

· Contribute to continual process improvement, constantly challenging ways of operating with innovative ideas and solutions

· Monitor and manage service delivery across new business quoting, renewals and claims

WHO ARE YOU?

The successful candidate must be able to manage, develop and maintain long term meaningful working relationships with key clients at all levels, as well as have strong technical ability.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

· Relevant general insurance experience in broking, 5 + years

· Sound knowledge across Transport insurance a must

· Exceptional client relationship skills

· High attention to detail and organisational skills

· Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

· Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
