Rehab Life (A Honan company) is seeking an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist on a sub-contract basis to undertake return to work same employer services in Occupational Rehabilitation in the Hunter/Newcastle region. We seek energetic and proactive consultants to help us continue our journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Sydney Branch Manager, this role will have you completing relevant rehabilitation assessments and return to work case management, to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance and deliver successful return to work outcomes.

Depending on your qualifications and experience, we are looking for consultants to complete the following:

• Rehabilitation assessments specific to your qualifications, including Functional Assessments, Activities of Daily Living Assessments, Ergonomic and Workplace assessments.
• Provision of training sessions for injury prevention including manual handling training and ergonomic training.
• Case management of Workers Compensation referrals, same-employer services.
• Work both individually and as part of our growing multi-disciplinary team.
• Develop quality early intervention strategies and return to work programs.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

You will be a Rehabilitation Consultant with a minimum 5 years’ experience within occupational rehabilitation. You will also be a self-motivated team player, with the ability to work autonomously and the willingness to go the extra mile.

• Must be a registered member of your professional body (ESSA/APRA)
• Must have valid drivers license.
