Job Overview

iCIMS is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Unit FP&A to join our FP&A team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and highly analytical finance leader to help propel the business forward through data-driven analysis and influential insights. In this role, you will impact the business by communicating innovative solutions and driving continuous improvement and automation in budget analysis and approval workflows through Adaptive Insights and NetSuite. You will also play a key role in operational initiatives, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes. This role reports to the Director, Finance and will have a high level of visibility throughout the finance and leadership teams. This position will be based in Holmdel, NJ. Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead FP&A finance support to senior and departmental leadership for budgetary planning, reporting, and other key performance measurements.
  • Monitor budget adherence, identify areas of variance, and provide recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
  • Collaboration with business divisions to gather financial information and assumptions for accurate forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with spending controls and create strategies to optimize our organization's budgets and spending.
  • Support the strategic planning process by providing financial insights, scenario analysis, and business case evaluations.
  • Assess investment opportunities, conduct financial due diligence, and provide recommendations for resource allocation.
  • Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies to support the achievement of financial targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor analysis to provide strategic guidance.
  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to the leadership team, providing guidance and support in financial matters.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a strong FP&A team to support the needs of corporate functions and the broader organization.
  • Establish standards and procedures to guide the administration of organizational budgeting.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance FP&A processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Communicating complex accounting concepts to management and staff.
  • Support administration of the FP&A system Adaptive Insights.
  • Assist in the integration of financial processes and reporting of M&A activities.
  • Assist in preparation of other ad hoc projects as the need arises.
  • Consistently ensure that business is always conducted with integrity and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and values.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in proven experience in finance or analytics roles required; 5+ years management experience required; previous technology/SaaS industry experience required.
  • Excellent financial/business modeling skills with a proven ability to create, navigate and explain sophisticated models required.
  • Experience with using planning & analysis tools such as Adaptive, Salesforce, Tableau, NetSuite, etc..
  • Demonstrated success creating and building cross-functional business partnerships.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a desire to understand the root cause of issues and ideate resolution.

Preferred

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The target total compensation for this role is $132,000 - $176,000. Compensation will be based upon experience.
