Job Description

The Success Expert Delivery is an organization at IFS that is responsible for creating and executing new ways of support and services for IFS customers. The IFS Success Menu Card Services help our customers and partners to design, implement, adopt, run and extend IFS-centric solution landscapes successfully and allow our customers to achieve their anticipated value from IFS software usage. The Success Expert Delivery team will consist of elite experts, who have specialized skills to guide and advise our customers and partners.

As a Planning and Schedule Optimization (PSO) Consultant you will be in the forefront in delivering IFS's premium engagement offerings, working directly with IFS customers on Cutting Edge Industry Solutions in industries such as Aerospace & Defense; Energy, Utilities & Resources; Engineering, Constructions & Infrastructure; Manufacturing and Services. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work with geographically distributed teams around the globe which will give you international exposure. The Consultant is required to have the right competencies in order to advise and guide the Customer, listen and challenge in order to understand the Customer’s real needs and advise the Customer in their usage of their IFS Products. It is imperative for the Consultant to stay engaged with the Customer or Partner as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a specific area and offer their expertise to colleagues, Partners and the Customer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality PSO Application consultancy during implementations, upgrades and ongoing support to our customers, globally.
• Understand and document complex planning and scheduling requirements.
• Good technical understanding of data, databases and interfaces.
• Set up and configure PSO to meet customer requirements / expectations.
• Provide training and mentoring to customer team members and other IFS consultants.
• Remain knowledgeable and familiar on supported versions of the software.
• Work closely with other IFS consultants to ensure complete solutions are provided to customers.
• Maintain a degree of knowledge of methods and requirements for interfacing with external applications.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement of existing IFS processes and methodology
• Play an active role in building a strong expert team in the Select & Success Expert Delivery team.
• Assist with pre-sales opportunities when required.
• Deliver a high degree of customer service (internally and externally).
• Mandatory - Excellent verbal and written language skills in English. Additional language skills would be beneficial.
• Be involved in, End user support, Issue recreation, test delivery/update fixes, provide basic functional advising, inform new legal requirements, basic application configuration advice & analysis, provide monthly statistics, user administration work, advice on tools, work on user security and profile related queries.

Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of IFS PSO product
• A Bachelor’s degree in Service Management, Chemical & Process, Mechanical, Production & Maintenance or equivalent
• Strong knowledge and experience in advanced scheduling and optimization applications is essential.
• 2-5 years’ experience in a relevant Industry is required
• Good understanding of IT systems and applications
• Experience of working as part of a team is essential
• Proven ability to be motivated and self-driven when working alone
• Outstanding troubleshooting, problem-solving, attention to detail, and data analysis skills
• Must have good presentation, organizational, and documentation skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
• The ability to work to deadlines, understanding the value and importance of milestone achievement
• Experienced with working on projects and an ability to manage sub-projects
• Ability to learn quickly, communicate ideas effectively, lead team efforts, and utilize flexibility and creativity to present a variety of solutions
• Must be able to analyze and/or design business processes
