Job Description

IFS R&D Supply Chain is looking for an experienced hands-on Manager Software Engineering that drives and improves the process of delivering state-of-the-art solutions for supply chain businesses.

As a Manager Software Engineering you will have the line responsibility for a group of very talented Software Engineers, Software Architects and Product Specialists located in Sri Lanka, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany. You will have a key role in ensuring personal growth, career development and recruitment of new coworkers.

You will be part of our R&D operations with >130 skilled and passionate individuals. As a member of the Supply Chain leadership team, you will play an important role, both strategically and operationally, in our success.

As a Manager Software Engineering you coach and build both teams and individuals to get the most out of their potential. You provide knowledge and insight in DevOps mindset and continuously work to improve our Agile development processes.

You are responsible for forming efficient teams that collaborates well, works according to our agile 7-stage development model and delivers high-quality software.

Qualifications

• People management experience with line manager responsibility.
• Experience of DevOps and agile development methodology.
• Knowledge in software engineering and/or design
• Used to presenting, leading, and inspiring people.
• English proficiency required.
• University degree, or equivalent professional qualifications.

Domain knowledge within the Supply Chain area and/or ERP is desirable.
