Job Description

We’re in the lookout for dynamic, open-minded and innovative experts to support both internal and partner facing tools that are used to define scope, estimate delivery effort and record process definition and customisation using 2C8 Software and Scope Tool plugin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading process modelling initiatives, utilizing advanced techniques and tools to analyze, design and optimize business processes and practices. We are seeking an experienced Lead Process Modelling Functional Consultant to lead process modelling initiatives ideally with hands on experience utilizing 2C8 software.

As a Lead Process Modelling Functional Consultant the ideal candidate will be passionate about education, skilled in the ins and outs of process modelling and analysis and able to help the team to ensure smooth operation of the 2C8 processing tool and accompanying software. This role involves supporting our 2C8 support team working with our 2C8 partners and internal experts helping to develop and implement educational strategies, leverage 2C8 and support users in mastering process management tools and technologies.

As a Lead Process Modelling Functional Consultant within the Education area you will split your time between taking control of our 2C8 strategy and service setup, streamlining processes and documentation, while working with other members of the business and troubleshooting other technologies, such as Microsoft Excel Macro's. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that how we work with our 2C8 partner strategically across all departments and our Education Guild are aligned.

You will be an advocate for finding different ways of working, overcoming challenges alongside the Education team.

A Lead Process Modelling Functional Consultant at IFS continuously expands their business process domain knowledge and uses this to backup our Scope Tool support team to ensure smooth running of the Tool and ensure that it is running efficiently and aligned to our releases.

As a Lead Process Modelling Functional Consultant you should be able to:

  • Be mindful of Scrum practices in order to ensure the team are working efficiently utilising JIRA and the ServiceNow platform.

  • Determine the needs of our different stakeholders for our processing tools

  • Be able to troubleshoot and review technical and end user content issues for the 2C8 product and accompanying processes, including user guides, online help, system error messages, system field names, labels, tool tips etc and general troubleshooting of the tool alongside Excel.

  • Be an advocate for intuitive design and seek out ways of reducing the need for formal education materials through collaboration with the design stakeholders within the development teams through improvements to the way we carry out process modelling.

  • Ensure User Education is accessible at the right time, in the right place, in the right medium for all target groups

  • Work closely with other 2C8 Product Specialist and work with community and senior stakeholders within your team to ensure processes within the team align to the strategy and enhancements are delivered to add value.

  • Utilise 2C8 software to help the teams ensure they understand the correct process in order to model the tool effectively. Develop tutorials, exercises, and case studies to facilitate learning and skill development.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on 2C8 functionality, setup and troubleshooting. Assist users with technical inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and escalate complex issues as needed.

  • Functionally test, review and maintain the 2C8 software when new features are delivered.

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on utilizing 2C8 effectively. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to maximize their proficiency with the software.

  • Contribute in activities related to product/program management around future direction and vision for 2C8 and our Education needs.

Project Delivery

·Develop competence in IFS products and process portfolios

·Be comfortable preparing for and delivering presentations, documentation, conducting workshops, assisting customer solutions, and testing of solutions

·Bring meaningful professional expertise and content to Customer interactions.

·Active participation in project activities.

·Apply the IFS Methodology, best practices and tools e.g. Process mapping and Scoping Tool.

·Be aware of the key business needs set out by the Customer and the value IFS products and services can provide.

Customer Service

·Work with Customer satisfaction in mind and continually seek opportunities to increase Customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

·Acknowledge the value you deliver to the Customer, quantifying this where possible.

·Excel VBA Macro skills are also required due to a number of other processes running from 2C8 input and output so they are updated throughout the lifecycle of a release.
