Job Description
The Commercial Program Coordinator position is a senior role that contributes to overall business success through:
- Owning and managing commercial governance
- Ensuring key timelines and milestones are understood, communicated and managed
- Project managing strategic initiatives for the Commercial Leadership
- Establishing commercial processes and procedures
- Maintaining commercial policies
This is a global role, and the successful applicant will benefit from working closely with colleagues across the world, including the UK, US and Scandinavia.
We are looking for an individual with a successful track record in corporate project management. The individual will have a good base of knowledge, will be capable of managing their time and priorities and looking to progress their career in a new organization. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a project management/coordination capacity is required.
Pricing: project manage pricing initiatives which can involve competitive analysis, costing and working collaboratively with sales, marketing, R&D and services teams to establish new and updated pricing models.
Commercial: working with senior management to ensure all aspects of product and service management are integrated, communicated effectively and driving positive collaboration.
The Commercial Program Coordinator is a conscientious individual, taking personal ownership of any information shared to the team and will seek to understand the business context within which we operate at IFS.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities
The Commercial Program Coordinator will take responsibility for the following:
- Project Planning and Scheduling: i) develop project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget and timelines ii) create detailed schedules and work plans to track progress and ensure timely completion
- Resource Management: i) where applicable, allocate and manage resources effectively, including team members, budget and materials ii) ensure the team has the necessary tools and support to complete their tasks
- Stakeholder Communication: i) Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders, including senior management, team members and clients ii) provide updates on project status, address concerns, and manage expectations
- Risk Management: i) identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies ii) monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement contingency plans as necessary
- Quality Assurance: i) ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and internal stakeholder specifications ii) implement quality control processes and perform regular reviews to maintain high standards
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: i) track project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques ii) generate detailed reports to document progress, challenges and achievements, and present these to stakeholders.
- Pricing: drive project management of initiatives, as well as working closely with senior colleagues to i) understand pricing models ii) create clear and accurate communications iii) support costing exercises iv) capturing and compiling feedback from sales, marketing and customers vi) supporting and driving ad-hoc projects as the year progresses.
- Packaging: project manage collaborations between product teams in IFS Research & Development (R&D), Global Customer Services (GCS) and the respective marketing teams as products and services are brought to market. Support and lead content creation with technology experts, support campaigns, work with online and digital teams.
- Commercial: working with a number of different departments to make smart, informed decisions about how the company makes money. This can involve looking internally at what we do uniquely well or can improve, as well as looking externally for ideas and a competitive edge. This also requires consistent and clear communication with the wider business and our customers. The Commercial Program Coordinator will project manage a number of these initiatives.
- Learning Mindset: a role of this type should be a give and take experience. This role will provide a wide and varied exposure to a range of tasks and aspects of the business. Our expectation is that the Commercial Program Coordinator will be highly motivated to both learn and contribute in equal measure.
- IT proficiency: exposure to Microsoft Office (word, ppt, excel) is essential. Any additional experience with other software e.g. OpenAI is a bonus. Further training will be provided.

The Commercial Program Coordinator is a trusted member of the Global Operations team, they will be able to demonstrate:

- Direct experience of supporting senior executives in an analyst capacity would be beneficial

Qualifications
Essential:
- Exposure to business/management/commercial concepts
- Can communicate fluently in business English, both written and verbal to a good level
- Growth minded and enthusiastic about professional development and learning
- IFS is pragmatic and flexible in terms of experience/background, however, the successful candidate will either i) have studied Business Management, IT, or a similar subject at a University level or equivalent, or ii) have studied a different topic but worked in a corporate setting for >10 years. Extended work experience in a business setting, ideally a corporate business is a must.
Desirable:
- Any additional IT or system exposure
- An eye for design
- Any other relevant qualifications or experience
