Job Description

Poka is looking for a dynamic Executive / Senior Executive - Legal to play a pivotal role in our Legal team. If you have 2-3 years' experience in contracts management, then we want to talk to you.

As an Executive / Senior Executive - Legal, you will report to the Senior Legal Counsel, and will work closely with our sales, marketing, HR and finance teams in North America and Europe to facilitate smooth contract execution processes.

What you’ll be responsible for:

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our contractual processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and improving the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from drafting to execution and beyond (eg. storage, renewals, compliance management, etc.), using analytics and relevant KPIs.

• Serving as the owner of our contract lifecycle management tool.

• Ensuring support to legal work by assessing legal and contractual risks, and ways to mitigate them (eg. confidentiality agreements).

• Assisting in reviewing contracts to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and revenue operations, to resolve contractual issues and optimize contract performance.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree or other degree in a relevant field.

• 2-3 years of prior experience in contract management or a related field.

• Experience in the B2B/SaaS industry.

• Working proficiency in English and French.

• Demonstrated understanding of contract law and legal principles; familiarity with privacy laws and regulations.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

• Strong work ethic and attention to details (high level of accuracy).

• Adaptability and resilience in navigating complex and evolving business landscapes.

• Experience with contract management tools or processes; proficiency with eSignature tool, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce (or other CRM), Google Drive, etc.
