Job Description

We are looking for experienced Solution Architects who know what it takes to implement Field Service / Mobile Workforce management software for our Tier 1 customers in Telco, Utilities, Facilities, Manufacturing and beyond.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be expected to work along as a senior member of the project team to understand our customers' business and functional objectives, along with the “As-is” and “To-be” state of the organization in order to provide a functional product solution and demonstrate where required.

Solution Architects working as part of the Service Management COE, will be expected to operate in 3 types of role

1) as the designated solution architect leading the design of the solution for our customers using IFS products

2) using industry, domain and product knowledge to support and guide another Solution Architect who is leading that project, this may be from one of our Partner organisations

3) develop and lead best practice artefacts and forums to grow our organisational knowledge and help more IFS colleagues and Partners deliver successful IFS implementations

Through the support of colleagues and using our Business Value Engineering tools you will enable the customer first approach of IFS ensuring the understanding and delivery of the value and technical solution customers expect. Senior Solution Architects are responsible for leading workshop and engagements with clients, understanding the business process and value drivers and translating this into customer facing presentations to support the IFS sales effort

Qualifications

Essential:

• University degree, equivalent professional qualifications or appropriate experience
• Deep experience of implementing Field Service software
• A understanding of business practices within relevant industries for Field Service
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• A willingness to travel – nationally and internationally as required

Desirable:

• Experience in developing business process strategy and enterprise architecture
• Experience in one or more of the following industry / functional areas.

• Financial accounting, preferably with procurement (Ideally with an accounting qualification).
• Enterprise Asset Management.
• Project management in asset intensive industries.
• Developing solutions to deliver customer facing demonstrations and presentations focused on the key IFS and customer value messaging.
• End-to-end business process and business practices including process and solution mapping.
• Knowledge of IFS products and processes, with a focus on the IFS processes related to your areas of industry expertise.
• Commitment to self-learning and regular training.
