Job Description
We are looking for a Program Manager – People based in Sri Lanka to join the COO Office in R&D.
The focus of the COO Office is to enable the R&D organization to rollout high-quality world class products by ensuring planning and execution of our product releases, aligned ways of working, management of strategic programs & projects and communication according to the Rhythm of Business.
As Program Manager – People, your main tasks will be to support the program of operational tasks related to People within R&D. You will play a central role in developing, implementing, documenting, and coordinating operational activities connected to people in collaboration with leadership teams across R&D as well as global HR.
Examples of tasks could be:
- Ensure updates and communication around our Rhythm of Business relative to organization milestones
- Prepare onboarding programs for our new joiners
- Facilitate and follow up of R&D career models and career pathways
- R&D process optimization and documentation
- Create and analyse R&D organization reports, including summaries and actions
- Tracking & reporting follow-up and action on employee surveys
- Work in partnership with Global HR Services organization on behalf of R&D as required

- utilizing data to drive improvements and decisions
- managing change; both within the process and the project context
- managing stakeholders; liaising with technical, functional, and commercial stakeholders
Qualifications
To be a successful Program Manager – People your attitude is key. You are open-minded, self-driven, take initiative, a quick learner, and are able to engage with both stakeholders and employees across all levels of the organization. You are operational in all you do and not afraid to get your hands dirty contributing to a task or assignment.
We are looking for someone with:
- A Degree (or equivalent) preferably in the field of Business Management.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with operational people tasks within a global organization, working across various cultures and time-zones, including line-management experience. Experience working with teams based in Europe, America and India would be an advantage.
- Passion for People, with experience in onboarding, learning and development initiatives.
- Track record of delivering people related projects and initiatives.
- The ability to prioritize work effectively, while working on multiple initiatives.
- A structured approach and good coordination skills.
- An eye for details and a mind for numbers.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook). Experience working with JIRA and Confluence would be advantageous.
- Experience working with ATS or HRIS, would be advantageous.
