(This role is a maternity cover role and will be a one year contract position)
Utilize your inner curiosity and test your resilience being the face of HR on the ground owning everything from HR administration to strategy to execution. You'll be working collaboratively with the regional HR team, HRSSC in Sri Lanka and local management team to develop and execute a people plan designed to accelerate growth through identifying and retaining talent, upskilling and enabling our people, simplifying our processes and engaging our workforce.
Reporting to the APJ MEA HR Director, based in Dubai we are looking for a candidate with exceptional people management skills who can identify great leaders, coach, mentor and drive exceptional people management across our ANZ organization. The main customer group are local and regional management teams across Sales, Pre-Sales (technical), Marketing, Consulting and business functions acting as a true business partner and holding leadership and people managers accountable for great employee experiences.
· Acts as a single point of the contact for employees and managers in ANZ for HR related matters (transactional matters being handled via a HRSSC ticketing system by our team in Sri Lanka)
· Proactively supports the delivery of and seek improvements in HR Processes for the entire employee lifecycle
· Manages HR Projects and employee relations cases cross-functionally and collaboratively
· Builds a strong business relationship with the market unit leadership team, global, regional and HRSSC resources
· Work collaboratively with the regional and local leadership team on CSR, Engagement and L&D initiatives
· Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to improve the employee "moment of service"
· Acts as the performance improvement driver by coaching and supporting people managers
· Supports the business with succession, development and talent pipelining plans for key talents and key job positions
· Challenge the market unit leadership team and holds them accountable for their employee engagement responsibilities (such as employee communications, goal setting, responding to employee surveys and disciplinary or grievance procedures)
· Acts as the member of the regional HR team, sharing experiences, knowledge and providing back up for time off and vacations
· Maintain data hygiene of the employee database, conducting data checks and validating reports in a timely manner
· Providing guidance and advice on the localization and implementation of regional or global HR initiatives
· Experience with acquisitions
· Ownership of the country payroll, local compliance, reporting, authority requests and any other HR administration matter locally
