Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We’re also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we’re as committed to purpose as we are to profits. This role is pivotal in fostering a robust IT environment that supports both local and global operations effectively.

Our culture is driven by our core value of “we-are-we” and as IT Lead you will work in an outcome-driven environment where collaboration with your product, design and engineering counterparts is paramount.

If you’re eager to make a difference and thrive in a collaborative setting, we invite you to join our team!

What you’ll do:

● Proactively monitor and action tickets in our service desk queue, prioritizing them based on urgency and impact to ensure prompt and efficient resolutions.

● Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance IT service delivery, aligning with broader IT goals and adapting to evolving user needs, with a focus on maintaining robust network connectivity between Sri Lanka and North America.

● Lead IT components of onboarding programs, ensuring new hires are equipped and provisioned with necessary resources.

● Collaborate closely with various IT teams across global locations, ensuring alignment in IT practices and policies, and sharing best practices for integrated IT service delivery.

● Manage and maintain meeting room technology and video conference equipment, providing hands-on assistance to ensure smooth operations during critical presentations or meetings.

● Implement and manage user access, authentication, and authorization processes, maintaining secure and efficient user experiences.

● Maintain up-to-date documentation of our IT infrastructure, processes, and knowledge base articles to ensure accessibility and accuracy for the IT team and end-users.

● Participate in budget planning and resource allocation to maximize efficiency within the IT department.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

● A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, coupled with a strong foundational knowledge in IT principles.

● At least 5 years of relevant IT experience, including roles involving infrastructure support and strategic IT operations in a SAAS environment.

● Advanced technical proficiency in desktop and network support, with a comprehensive understanding of technical requirements for efficient IT operations.

● Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting, and familiarity with IT service management platforms like JIRA Service Desk.

● Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to translate technical information into easily understandable terms for non-technical users.

● Proficiency in managing identity and access, with hands-on experience in systems like Okta Workflows and Active Directory.

● Strong working knowledge of network management tools and best practices for maintaining international connectivity and managing Windows computers.

● Demonstrated ability to work independently, effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

● Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, necessary for clear, concise, and persuasive communication across various levels of the organization.

● Flexibility to work both remotely and in-office as needed, and willingness to travel as required for on-site support, training, or IT infrastructure maintenance at different locations.
