Job Description

WorkWave is a field service management software that provides SaaS solutions for businesses in the service industry (HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical, Cleaning, Lawn & Landscape, Home Delivery, Logistics & Distribution). We empower these businesses to deliver exceptional customer experiences and grow their customer base on our efficient and easy-to-use platform.

WorkWave Team is looking for an innovative Business Systems Analyst who wants to be part of a team of creative and talented individuals. Our teams are a mix of technologists, product managers, development engineers, and UI/UX designers, all working together to deliver our vision. You will be a part of our WorkWave team, helping to develop & support the WorkWave products

Responsibilities:

• Acquire a deep understanding of the assigned Product
• Attend engineering/product standup meetings
• Actively groom newly reported stories:
  ○ Validate the stories as a defect, research, feature request, or working as designed
  ○ Clarify details and/or document acceptance criteria on stories
  ○ Set metadata for tracking and categorization as appropriate per story
• Assist the Sri Lanka team with understanding the defects
• Consult with the NJ Product team on items that need clarification
• Assist with slotting stories based on prioritization logic weekly per sprint
• Assist with documenting requirements and acceptance criteria for technical debt stories

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ hands-on experience in working in a Field service management-related industry or similar along with thorough knowledge of working with different Business Applications.
• An academic background with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Information Technology.
• Proven ability to lead and influence teams, colleagues, customers and partners.
• Strong problem-solving ability, analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• The ability to efficiently engage with requirement owners and other stakeholders while contributing to activities related to product/solution management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Fluent in English
