Job Description
The Project Manager is the key to ensuring the success of our Projects. IT@IFS Project Management spans from large implementations of new technologies and capabilities, company integrations, upgrades, or continuous improvement projects.
The Senior Principal Project Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and steering projects of strategic importance to IFS. Senior Principal Project Managers are valued highly within the IT IFS community due to their complete integrity and vast complex project and programme management experience. The Senior Project Manager works in the IFS IT Organization and works closely with our business sponsors, and acts as ambassadors for the IFS Core Values and Principles. The Senior Project Manager has a proven track record of contributing to the development of a best-in-class Project Management practice knowing how to adapt delivery for each project.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage continuously with our Business to ensure we are meeting their needs with our delivery.
Fully own End to End Project Delivery ensuring value creation realised.
Managing risks, issues, timelines and ensuring full transparency of status at all times.
Act as an escalation point for sponsors and key stakeholders concerning project delivery.
Provide input to IT@IFS delivery approach and contribute to continuous improvement of Methodology, Tools, and Processes within the IT organization, critically assessing the impact it could have on value to our business.
Act as a trusted partner to our Business Partners in IT, our business sponsors, our platform owners and product owners.
Embody the IFS Core Values and champion the IFS strategy within the IT organization, and proactively influence other business functionals within IFS
Qualifications
Required Competence:
A Senior Project Manager would be expected to have an excellent understanding of the following areas:
Software systems, ERP and the IFS Portfolio.
Project Management Principles in differing methodologies (i.e. agile, waterfall, hybrid).
Presentation Skills.
Project Management Skills with experience managing more than 3 end to end lifecycles of complex platform delivery.
Process adherence and quality assurance.
Internal business processes, workflows, and operational considerations.
Internal and external negotiation and influencing skills.
Qualifications:
To be successful you will have:
Essential:
- 7+ years of experience in Project Management or PMO.
- Hands-on experience in structured delivery methodologies in SaaS platforms, integrations and Infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience in Agile and Waterfall Methodologies.
Extensive experience of leading small to mid-size projects in corporate solutions and complex infrastructure.
Bachelor's degree or professional equivalent training and qualification.
Experience in working with all levels of the organisation with exposure to C-Level.
Proven thought leadership and critical thinking through Delivery Lifecycle being a valuable contributor.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluency in English (verbal and written).
Desirable:
Experience of IT M&A Integration project execution – Systems, Infrastructure, User Management.
Experience in applying IT Delivery Methodologies and project management tooling.
Constructive input given cross functions in IT.
