Job Description
In the role of a License Management Lead you will be experienced with software licensing / license management with experience across multiple software vendors and the ability to dynamically support and lead complex deliverables and projects to a high standard.
In this position you will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for understanding license and support agreements, analyzing license entitlements and software deployments, to confirm compliance with IFS terms of use.

- Broad understanding of cloud and on-premise licensing concepts and understanding of legal concepts and requirements associated with software licensing agreements
Successful candidates will have a bias toward analysis, enjoy finding patterns from different sources, making confident analytics-driven decisions, and engaging our customers to discover and document compliance issues. This role will combine the investigation of licensing issues to confidently presenting issues back to our clients as part of the resolution process.
You will be confident in front of clients, with an ability to communicate with varying stakeholders(technical , business operations , executive management) , providing clear and concise narratives with ease. In this role you will lead deployment reviews and analysis to develop reports on complex license positions along with risk remediation for IFS. You will act as a key point of contact for our clients during the deployment review and verification stage and liaison with internal IFS stakeholders related to IFS’s licensing position and opportunity development.
You will work closely with the license management consultants/data analysts to strategize on task required to review / verify a deployment and develop a license compliance position.
Key responsibilities
- Queuing / Processing of customer deployment reports
- Evaluating deployment data for compliance issues.
- The accurate delivery of deployment reports in a timely and efficient manner.
- Contributing to methodology and delivery quality improvement projects
- Reporting results of evaluation to create commercial opportunities
Qualifications
Essential
- 5+ years working within the Licensing industry/technology sector
- Strong background in contract law and license interpretation
- Experience with MS Office and complex Excel data management
- Experience with top tier software vendor (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, IBM) deployments but experience with other vendors will also be considered
- Strong senior level presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good commercial acumen
- Comfort engaging with internal/external stakeholders
Desirable
- Complex data analysis skills to evaluate customer supplied and external data
- SAM process and maturity assessment experience is a plus
- Strong administrative and/or technology background is a plus
- CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience is a plus
Other
- Education Qualification is required. Bachelor Degree or higher in Comp Sc , IT , Business, any engineering degree OR graduate in any discipline
- 5+ years experience is in the specific area / core skill and Overall Experience in the SW/IT industry
- Work hours will require regularly scheduled meetings with IFS global teams in either USA, UK/ Europe or APJ/MENU
