Job Description

The Project Manager is part of the PMO responsible for delivering internal projects across the business - planning & executing various projects and programmes that span across various departments and regions globally within the company. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget and are delivered with project excellence and in alignment with business goals.

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Set clear goals and expectations for the team and monitor performance.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
    • Lead project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Engage with internal stakeholders to gather needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or issues.
  • Resource Management:
    • Coordinate with department heads to allocate resources effectively.
    • Monitor project budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Identify and resolve resource conflicts and dependencies.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and manage project issues, ensuring timely resolution.
    • Maintain a risk and issue log and report on status regularly.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance project management processes.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Create and maintain detailed project plans and dashboards of your projects underway and ensure timeous and regular communications with key stakeholders on project progress.
    • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and logs.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.
    • Provide ad hoc reports and analysis on request.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to work with global stakeholders
  • Excellent professional fluency in English. Additional languages is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to create and execute new processes.
  • Tenacious approach with a strong will to see projects through to completion
  • Good data analysis and presentation of key insights to enable and accelerate business processes.
  • Ability to assimilate complex data into business information.

Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
  • Proven ability in project management, preferably within an international environment.
  • Proven expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, preferably on an international scale.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Good communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent excel skills and proficiency working with project management tools like Microsoft Project and JIRA.
  • Excellent capability with Microsoft PowerPoint & other Microsoft productivity solutions
  • Excellent professional fluency in English (written and spoken). Additional languages is an advantage.
  • University or equivalent qualification in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or equivalent reporting tools
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and methods. Knowledge of IFS Cloud is an advantage.
  • Mastery in Microsoft PowerPoint
