Job Description

The Next Generation Architecture (NGA) team at R&D Technology is spearheading a transformative initiative to revolutionize our industry-leading enterprise software solutions with industrial AI at its core. We're embarking on an ambitious journey to reimagine the architecture, developer experience and user experience of our entire software suite. This strategic transformation will deliver exceptional value to our customers while setting new standards for enterprise software innovation. We're seeking a Product Manager to orchestrate this complex, multi-faceted initiative and drive its successful execution

As Product Manager you will:

• Demonstrate a deep passion for modern enterprise software architecture, developer experience and emerging technology paradigms
• Be knowledgeable on how AI is impacting both end user experience as well as developer experience
• You should possess an insatiable intellectual curiosity and a proven track record of continuous self-directed learning
• Play a key role in formulating and refining the problem statement, always asking the question "What problem are we solving here?"
• Have experience working with both internal teams and external stakeholders including customers and partners.
• Evangelize our vision and plans to stakeholders across the organization highlighting how both IFS and our customers would benefit from what we would deliver.
• Be proactive, drive initiatives and take ownership.
• Manage risks, issues & dependencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
• Understanding of modern technology stacks such as Go, ReactJS, NoSQL Databases, Kafka, Event driven architectures
• Hands-on software engineering or software architect experience is an advantage
• Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in the technology, software, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with application development frameworks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Proven ability to understand customer needs and translate them into successful products.
• This role is intended for Sri Lanka, but we also accept applications from Spain.
