Job Description

We are looking for dynamic, service-minded individuals with excellent technical competency to be part of our Environments Support Team under the Corporate Services IT Organization.

Primary Job Role:

• Engage in technical troubleshooting and providing technical support;
• Be familiar with IT infrastructure, software and platforms included in IFS products;
• Work with Cloud Technologies (Azure) to troubleshoot issues and work closely with internal customers;
• Troubleshoot performance-related faults;
• Engage in DBA activities for the database(s) supported;
• Focus on preventive maintenance and proactive monitoring to ensure operational efficiency, performance, and security;
• Develop and gain necessary proficiency (on-the-job training) to fulfill assignments;
• Evaluate and suggest alternative solutions;
• Always update IFS internal systems and keep stakeholders well informed, including proactively updating on potential delays.

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems & Networking or Computer Science;
• 1 or 2 years of experience in working with global customers delivering technical support will be an added advantage;
• Exposure to Oracle Database systems or Azure Technologies is a definite advantage;
• ITIL qualifications, at foundation or higher levels, would be useful but are not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Git Hub and Kubernetes is desirable;
• Well versed in delivery of high level customer service;
• Very good communication skills;
• The ability to work in a distributed team setup on 24x5 shifts.
