Job Description

The WorkWave Team is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our dynamic finance team, composed of professionals committed to achieving our company’s financial goals and business objectives.

  • Own and support billing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper customer communication.
  • Assist with collections efforts, including following up with customers, managing escalations, and maintaining records of communication.
  • Manage and update customer account data, track open receivables, and help resolve disputes or discrepancies as they arise.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of finance-related systems, tools, or integrations (e.g. billing platforms, payment portals).
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Accounting teams to improve quote-to-cash workflows.
  • Regularly engage with customers via phone to follow up on outstanding balances, clarify billing questions, and ensure timely resolution of payment issues in a professional and customer-friendly manner.
  • Assist in various ad hoc projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in finance operations, billing, collections, or related roles.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with financial systems and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Clear and professional communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
