Job Description
The Paid Advertising Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising targeted advertising campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and other digital channels to drive high-quality leads to maximize ROI. You will work with in-house specialist, local and regional marketers and our agency partners implementing account-based marketing (ABM) practices, deliver and measure paid advertising.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Plan, launch, and optimise paid LinkedIn campaigns tailored to B2B lead generation goals, including Sponsored Content, Message Ads, Lead Gen Forms, and Conversation Ads.
- Develop and refine audience strategies using first-party data, account lists, job titles, company sizes, industries, and intent-based signals.
- Manage LinkedIn tracking capabilities including Insight Tag, conversion tracking, and integration with CRM systems such as HubSpot and/or Marketo.
- Collaborate with agency partners to execute international campaigns aligned to ABM strategies, targeting global regions including North America, Europe, and LATAM.
- Optimise campaigns to achieve objectives (leads, conversions, MQLs), through A/B testing, creative iteration, and data analysis.
- Provide recommendations to regional marketers on budget allocation, channel selection, and campaign enhancements.
- Analyse campaign performance and generate clear, insightful reports for key stakeholders, using tools like Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and BI dashboards.
- Manage campaign budgets and bidding strategies to maximise ROI and efficiency (CPA, CPL, CTR).
- Align campaign strategy with broader marketing initiatives and business goals.
- Stay up to date on LinkedIn platform developments, new ad formats, and best practices.
Qualifications
Essential skills:
- Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience running LinkedIn Advertising campaigns for B2B lead generation.
- Proven track record in targeting and engaging international audiences (e.g., North America, Europe, LATAM) through LinkedIn Ads.
- Deep understanding of LinkedIn's advertising ecosystem including audience segmentation, Insight Tag, matched audiences, account targeting, and campaign performance tracking.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and their integration with paid campaigns for effective lead management.
- Competency in campaign analysis, UTM strategy, and performance reporting via platforms like Google Analytics, Power BI, and Excel.
- Experience in or exposure to other platforms (e.g., Google Ads, programmatic, DSPs) is advantageous but not required.
- Comfortable working across teams and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously with tools such as Asana, Trello, or Jira.
- Exceptional communication skills in English. Fluency in another European language is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in the software or tech sector, particularly with enterprise-level solutions.
- Passion for data-driven marketing and continuous optimisation.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions and improve outcomes.
- Familiarity with ethical considerations in digital advertising and the responsible use of marketing technology, including AI.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
