Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, driven, and strategic Sales Director to lead our team of Account Executives and Account Directors focused on mid-market commercial accounts across the Gulf region (GCC, excluding KSA). This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, building high-performing teams, and ensuring the successful execution of our go-to-market strategy in a high-volume, smaller-deal size environment.

As a key member of the Middle East leadership team, you will be responsible for translating corporate objectives into regional success through strong sales execution, leadership, coaching, and collaboration across functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives/Directors focused on net-new business within mid-market commercial accounts.

    • Own and drive the execution of the go-to-market strategy for the Gulf, aligning with IFS’s broader regional and global objectives.

    • Define and monitor KPIs and sales metrics, ensuring alignment with quarterly and annual targets.

    • Foster a high-performance, growth-oriented sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer-centricity.

  • Sales Execution & Enablement

    • Drive pipeline development activities and ensure consistent 4x pipeline coverage across the team.

    • Oversee the full sales cycle execution – from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing – ensuring best practices in deal governance and forecasting.

    • Review and challenge account plans, territory strategies, and opportunity qualification to improve win rates and deal velocity.

    • Ensure full CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and data-driven sales cadence across the team.

  • Customer & Partner Engagement

    • Act as an executive sponsor for key commercial accounts when needed, building long-term relationships and enhancing IFS’s presence in the Gulf.

    • Collaborate with channel and alliance teams to support joint go-to-market motions and drive partner-enabled growth.

    • Ensure customer satisfaction and strong handover to customer success and delivery teams.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with marketing, presales, value engineering, professional services, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

    • Collaborate with regional leadership and global stakeholders to share insights, remove blockers, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the Gulf region – cultural, commercial, and operational nuances.

  • Proven ability to drive pipeline generation, consistent forecasting accuracy, and quota overachievement.

  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools and data-driven sales management practices.

  • Track record of coaching and developing sales talent in a performance-oriented culture.

  • Strong business acumen and executive presence, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

  • Experience selling in IFS’s core industries and familiarity with Asset Management and/or Service Management solutions is advantageous.

Additional Information

  • This role reports to the Senior Vice President and is part of the Middle East leadership team.

  • Travel within the Gulf region will be required to support team members, partners, and customers.
