Job Description

We are seeking a talented User Education Specialist / Technical Content Writer with expertise to join our team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation and educational materials to support our users in effectively utilizing IFS Technology solutions.

• Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation, including user manuals, online help systems, and training materials for IFS Technology products
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, and product managers to gather and understand complex technical information
• Translate technical concepts into easily understandable content for various audience levels
• Create and maintain a consistent style and tone across all documentation
• Develop and implement content strategies to improve user education and reduce support inquiries
• Continuously update and improve existing documentation based on user feedback and product updates
• Participate in the creation of e-learning modules and video tutorials to enhance user understanding
• Ensure all documentation meets quality standards and adheres to company guidelines
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in technical writing, user education, and IFS Technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in technical writing or user education, preferably in the enterprise software industry
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
• Proficiency in documentation tools and content management systems
• Experience with instructional design principles and e-learning development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
