Job Description
A UX Designer at IFS ensures alignment with the design guidelines while working with the improvement of the existing experience as well as new functionality for the product. This role also assumes maintaining and managing activities related to user research.
The work is focused on interpreting and analyzing business requirements as well as UX research results to create usable, enjoyable, fit-for-purpose and enterprise grade software.
A UX Designer will contribute to delivering the best possible experience for the users of IFS products, by sketching, prototyping and user testing, working closely with the rest of the cross functional team during the whole development process. The work is conducted in close co-operation with Project Managers and development teams to gather and evaluate all the requirements.
In addition, a UX Designer continuously expands their business process domain knowledge. They also proactively share UX design knowledge and principles to inspire and guide others
Responsibilities:
Continuously improve IFS products by delivering the best possible experience for the users
Conduct user research to gather end users’ insights
Identify and resolve existing UX problems
Design and prototype effective user flows for new or changed functionality
Work with information presentation from a user’s perspective (as opposed to the system, or technical perspective)
Continuously improve IFS products by delivering the best possible experience for the users (additional requirements for specializations of the role)
Define visual product development
Establish the design architecture
Develop new concepts
Work with the conceptual design for new features and innovations, establishing interaction flows and evaluating them through prototyping and other methods
Work with the development of existing concepts
Create design artifacts, presentations, and training material
Create user test reports and other documentation for debriefing other team members to sharing insights from UX research
Present work in progress and design decisions made
Document design decisions, describe user journeys, flows and other design artifacts
Engage with requirement owners and other stakeholders
Ensure user (and customer) satisfaction and solution fit
Provide solution options and estimations, and evaluate them
Collaborate with cross-functional team members, and other stakeholders
Consider technical and business requirements while creating the best user experience
Contribute to improvements in IFS Products, services, and processes
Continuously improving design practices within the group
Create and maintain Design System materials, as well as other design guidelines, driving design practices
Assist in product-related market research and competitive analysis
Assist in defining future direction and vision for domains / concepts

Qualifications
Recommended 4+ years of relevant experience
College Diploma or University Degree in the field of UX
