Job Description

The purpose of the Global Internal Audit Specialist, role is to support the Head of Internal Audit by executing the annual audit plan, enhancing governance, and driving innovation through automation and AI, while ensuring effective audit reviews and fraud detection in alignment with organizational priorities.

Key Objectives

• Deliver the risk-based audits across Finance, Procurement, IT, HR, Compliance and Governance as per the planned and approved internal audit plan for 2026 while collaborating with the risk management function to identify the high-risk areas.
• Perform audit based on technology driven audit processes for efficiency -AI, Automation and data driven approach.
• Perform Fraud Detection and Control Assurance by completing testing as per the audit plan
• Perform monthly follow up on the open audit action and report the status updates to the Audit Committee.
  

  Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

• Delivery of the Annual Audit Plan:
  Completion of the Annual Audit Plan according to the indicative timelines for 2026 while collaborating with risk management function to identify high risk factors on audits areas.
  
• Audit Committee and Stakeholder Engagement:
  Timely submission of the audit committee deck, Timeliness of follow-ups with relevant stakeholders, Clear communication with stakeholders on the audit findings and recommendations.
  
• Feedback or insights derived from the business:
  Following up the remedial actions based on the reported audit findings.
  
• Automation & Innovation:
  Educate the scope and work hand in hand with the development team by giving inputs and ensure delivery of all initiatives for 2026.
  
• Support to Head of Internal Audit:
  Coach and trained team members, take the lead in team deliverables.
  Responsiveness to ad-hoc departmental deliverables

Qualifications

- Full qualification of any accountancy body - ACCA, CA. CIMA or a degree equivalent.
