Job Description
We are looking for a Business Operations Reporting Analyst to support our regional leadership with high-quality reporting, data preparation, dashboard creation, and ongoing performance tracking. You will work closely with the Field Business Operations Team to ensure data accuracy, timely updates, and actionable insights.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly skilled in Excel, Power BI, and data management, and who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and turning raw information into clear business insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Reporting & Analytics
- Build, update, and maintain Excel-based reports used for business reviews, forecasting, performance tracking, and operational decision-making.
- Support the design, development, and enhancement of Power BI datasets and dashboards.
- Ensure dashboards used by leadership remain accurate, up to date, and aligned with business priorities.
- Create ad-hoc analyses to support regional projects, quarter-end activities, and strategic decisions.
2. Data Preparation & Quality
- Manage data extraction from multiple sources, transform datasets, and prepare files for reporting.
- Maintain and clean inputs, including resolving discrepancies, correcting input issues, and ensuring consistent formatting.
- Ensure compliance with basic data governance standards when handling sensitive data.
- Help maintain documentation of data sources, file locations, and report logic.
4. Business Partnering
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to collect data, validate information, and answer reporting-related questions.
- Support preparation of materials for leadership meetings.
- Manage ad-hoc reporting-related requests from stakeholders, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication.
5. Process Improvement
- Identify manual steps that can be standardised, simplified, or automated.
- Contribute to the transition from Excel-heavy workflows to more scalable reporting where possible.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup formulas, Power Query, data cleaning, merging).
- Strong Power BI experience, including:
- data modelling, flow design, and implementation
- building reports and visuals
- performance improvement
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Professional Competencies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, especially in ambiguous or incomplete-data scenarios.
- A proactive mindset with strong motivation to question and enhance current processes.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across regions and time zones.
- High integrity when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Finance reporting.
- Exposure to CRM/ERP data structures and pipeline reporting.
- Experience with automation tools (Power Automate, VBA, etc.).
Education & Experience
- Degree in Business, Data Analytics, IT, Finance, or similar field.
2–3 years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or business operations roles
