THE ROLE:

In our software development department, we develop applications in the environment of the endpoint management solution. Our architects (m/f/d) accompany the entire software development process and define architecture and design for various back-end and front-end components.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design cloud transition project for feature-rich Endpoint Management solution
• Create software architecture for complex features or refactoring of large scope
• Create proof of concepts for new features with high impact on existing architecture
• Review existing implementation and propose architecture improvements
• Create macro architecture proposals and discuss it with peers and Lead Software Architect
• Join cross-team architect board to discuss and define architecture changes, product strategies and goals
• Provide technical guidance to team architects and teams
• Organize information exchange and trainings for team architects
• Create architecture proposals for new products or extensions in Endpoint Management solution
• Implement decisions of architect board or Lead Software Architect
• Stay informed about Architecture trends and propose modernizations

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in computer science, mathematics, IT or relevant professional experience with qualified technical training
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as software developer including architecture tasks (2+ years)
• Profound experience in cloud technologies (Azure and/or AWS)
• Confident in using Docker
• Experienced in cloud transition projects
• Profound knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java)
• Proficient in Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Testing) and JPA
• Experienced in continuous integration and build & release management
• Working without supervision
• Able to work on complex tasks with many factors, some of which are difficult to determine
• Willing to familiarize oneself with new topics and to design and implement new solutions as part of a team
• Having no problem grasping highly complex contexts and working out content independently
