Senior Linux Security Engineer (m/f/d)

THE ROLE:
The Senior Linux Security Engineer (m/f/d) ensures that the products meet the most modern security requirements for enterprise use and FIPS compliance, supports the team in all security matters and works on the implementation of security-critical components.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop security concepts for our software and implement them in the team
- Support the team with re-design, new developments and the expansion of automated security tests
- Developing and establishing a Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) in the Linux development department
- Create secure coding guidelines
- Create and monitor SonarQube code quality rules
- Create AppArmor profiles
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in computer science, mathematics or relevant professional experience with qualified technical training
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming and scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Experience with software development under Linux
- Knowledge of the structure and functionality of Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with common development tools (Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity)
- Experience with secure coding guidelines
- Experience with measures that increase security in software development, such as static code analysis, code review and automated tests
- Grasp complex contexts and work out content independently
