Marketing Coordinator, DACH (m/f/d) - Germany

LOCATION: Bremen, Germany, hybrid

THE ROLE:

The purpose of the Marketing Coordinator position is to support the DACH Marketing Department with the identification, development, and execution of Field and Channel Marketing event strategies based on the organization’s goals and objectives, brand efforts, and budget for IGEL Technology.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research suitable venue options for regional events per event type and budget, obtain quotes, and create preliminary budget comparisons for review and selection
  • Track event logistics to ensure deadlines are obtained (registration, sponsorship commitments, booth items, giveaways, shipping and receiving, etc.)
  • Research and request quotes for sponsorship and conference opportunities
  • Submit event and sponsorship documentation to finance for PO generation and invoice payment
  • Participate in pre-event meetings and event debriefs
  • Facilitate lead gathering, upload, and reporting of marketing lists/event leads for sales follow-up
  • Be involved in events on-site as needed per request and approval
  • Track event and webinar registrations and send updates to internal team and partners
  • Set up and execute marketing automated (Act-On and Outreach.io) campaigns, eblast and event landing page creation, and webinar scheduling
  • Work with 3rd party publishers, partners and distributors on campaign activation
  • Set up and manage tracking and reporting
  • Create and edit copy for event landing pages and eblasts

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in marketing or event management with the desire to learn more about Field and Channel Marketing
  • Experience in the field of Digital Marketing
  • Strong understanding of lead generation tools and techniques, including email marketing, social media, and CRM systems
  • Proficient in using data analytics to drive decisions and improve lead generation efforts
  • Able to clearly communicate new ideas, products, and campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, efficiency and attention to detail
  • Willingness to think outside the box and bring new and innovative ideas to the marketing department
  • Open-minded and team player mentality
  • Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic nature of a startup and varying departmental needs and ability to work with limited supervision
  • Fluent German and very good English language skills
  • Occasional domestic travel to support events - less than 20%
