Channel Sales Manager, Southern Europe (m/f/d)

THE ROLE:
As a Channel Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for managing and developing our channel partnerships mainly in France, but also Spain, Italy and Israel. You will work closely with our channel partners to promote and sell IGEL’s solutions, build strong relationships, and achieve sales targets. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth through effective channel management, partner enablement, and strategic planning.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Channel Management:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with channel partners, including value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators (SIs), and Managed Services and Solution Providers
- Drive partner recruitment, onboarding, and enablement activities to ensure partners have the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively sell our solutions
- Collaborate with partners to create joint business plans, set sales targets, and develop go-to-market strategies
- Monitor partner performance, track sales metrics, and provide regular reports to management
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals by actively engaging with channel partners and supporting their sales efforts
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans
- Provide product training, sales presentations, and demonstrations to partners and end customers
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and competitive strategies
Marketing and Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop channel-specific marketing programs, campaigns, and promotions
- Support partners in their marketing initiatives by providing marketing collateral, sales tools, and campaign materials
- Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, partner conferences, and other initiatives to generate leads, increase brand awareness, and expand the partner network
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, product management, and technical support, to ensure seamless execution of channel strategies and customer satisfaction
- Provide feedback and insights from the market to help shape product development and enhance our competitive positioning
- Collaborate with regional and global sales teams to share best practices, leverage synergies, and contribute to overall company growth
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience (min. 5 years) as a Channel Sales Manager or similar role in the IT industry, preferably with expertise in EUC and VDI technologies
- Strong knowledge of the Swiss channel and Swiss IT market, including key players, customer needs, competitors, and market trends
- Demonstrated track record of driving channel sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and managing partner relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and without supervision, take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Fluency in French and English is a must
- Willingness to travel within France and occasionally internationally
