THE ROLE:
The Senior People Operations Partner (m/f/d) is a hands-on operational role responsible for supporting people operations, HR reporting, and localised training initiatives across EMEA, APAC and India.
This role operates under the functional leadership of the Director, People Operations & Global Recruitment, translating strategic priorities into effective, scalable operational delivery, and acting as a senior operational owner and escalation point within the People Operations function. The role will also work closely with the Senior Director, People Partnering to ensure operational processes run smoothly, training requirements are identified and delivered, and management reports provide insight to support business decisions.
It is ideal for a proactive HR professional who enjoys combining operational delivery with learning initiatives and HR analytics, while contributing to the effectiveness of the People function.
The role carries end-to-end accountability for the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of core People Operations processes, ensuring critical employee lifecycle activities are delivered reliably, compliantly, and to a high standard across regions.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
People Operations & Employee Support
· Partner with People Partners to ensure smooth operational delivery across EMEA, APAC and India.
· Support localised processes including manager guidance, onboarding support, and HR systems use.
· Collaborate on process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency in HR operations.
· Own accountability for the effectiveness of core employee lifecycle processes (including onboarding, changes, leave management and exits), acting as an escalation point for complex, sensitive, or high-risk operational cases.
· Ensure clear operational standards, controls, and handoffs are in place between People Operations Specialists and People Partners, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
· Lead and oversee the German Betriebliches Eingliederungsmanagement (BEM) process in compliance with §167 SGB IX, including eligibility monitoring, formal invitation management, documentation standards, coordination with managers and works councils (where applicable), and ensuring appropriate operational governance and confidentiality controls are maintained.
Training & Learning Support
· Identify training needs across regions in partnership with People Partners and business leaders.
· Contribute to the design and delivery of localised manager training, workshops, or learning sessions.
· Ensure training content is practical, consistent, and aligned with business and HR priorities.
· Ensure operational and systems-related training (e.g. onboarding, manager self-service, time and absence processes) is embedded effectively and supported by clear guidance and documentation.
Reporting & HR Analytics
· Produce monthly management reports and HR statistics for business leaders and People Partners.
· Monitor HR metrics, trends, and data quality to support decision-making.
· Identify insights or areas for action based on operational and people data.
· Take ownership for HR data integrity and reporting accuracy, working closely with People Operations Specialists to ensure consistent HRIS usage, reliable inputs, and trusted outputs.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
· Work closely with the Director, People Operations & Global Recruitment and Senior Director, People Partnering to ensure alignment across operations and people initiatives.
· Support HRIS optimisation, reporting, and workflow enhancements as needed.
· Act as a reliable point of contact for operational queries and cross-functional initiatives.
· Provide senior operational oversight of time, absence, and sickness management processes, ensuring appropriate reporting, escalation, and compliance mechanisms are in place, particularly in jurisdictions with heightened regulatory requirements.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
· Experience in people operations or HR generalist work in an international environment.
· Proven experience in training design/delivery or supporting learning initiatives.
· Strong experience producing HR reports, dashboards, and analytics.
· Ability to work across multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, India) and understand regional nuances.
· Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functions.
· Experience owning or overseeing end-to-end HR operational processes, with accountability for outcomes rather than task-level execution.
· Fluent English and German.
Desirable
· Experience supporting fast-growing international organisations.
· Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and process improvement projects.
· Previous experience working with senior business leaders to deliver operational HR insights.
