THE ROLE:
The Cloud Services at IGEL support the OS and Management solutions. The containerized webservices run in an orchestration hosted at cloud providers. The containers are also provided to customers to be hosted and managed independently in their infrastructure. The developers (m/f/d) are involved in the entire software development process. They are also involved in deploying, monitoring and maintaining the services. As a Software Developer (m/f/d) in the Cloud Services department, you are a specialist in the field of webservices with a focus on providing frontend solutions.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Implement professional concepts and architectures
  • Implement high-quality software solutions using JavaScript
  • Implementing APIs and microservices
  • Assist the deployment and operation of microservices on Kubernetes clusters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Understand and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and monitoring
  • Process support requests with medium complexity and footprint
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback
  • Implement coding standards and best practices
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks
  • Documentations meeting needs of internal and external
  • Stay informed about security best practices and vulnerabilities
  • Ensure reliable and efficient deployment process
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members
  • Actively participate in team meetings

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or relevant professional experience
  • Minimum of 3-6 years professional experience
  • Heavyweight of experience in backend development
  • Expert in the field of JavaScript
  • High knowledge in MongoDB
  • Good in Identity and Access Management
  • High Problem solving skills and critical and independent Thinker
  • Understand complex technical concepts and provide innovative solutions
  • Working in Cross-Functional Teams and effective collaboration
  • Continuous Learner
  • Communicate technical concepts
  • Knowledge of continuous integration, build and release management
  • Working with minimal supervision and takes responsibility
