Job Description

Our Global Sales Trainer will work to execute a best in class sales training program for our rapidly expanding sales force in a hyper growth environment. As part of the Sales Enablement team the Global Sales Trainer will assist in creating, managing and executing training programs for all types of salespeople ranging from entry-level business development representatives through experienced sales executives. This is a remote position that will report into the Head of Sales Enablement and Business Development.

What will you do?

  • Serve as a resource as a sales and adult learning subject matter expert
  • Establish training needs by collaborating with sales leadership, analyze sales KPI's and performance results to inform key focus areas for staff development
  • Owns Sales Bootcamp for new hires (Acct Execs, Acct Managers, BDRs) including: Scheduling, role by role training plan design, delivery, internal partner coordination, post
  • Take all needed steps post onboarding to shorten the ramp to success for all new sales staff – assess training quality through the lens of success in months 1-12 for new sales hires
  • Establish methods, and systems required to achieve ongoing sales training objectives, assess performance and evaluate instructional methods
  • Assist in evaluating and developing training content, resources and materials in order to deliver effective sales training programs; ensure competency-based approach with robust evaluation methods for all offerings
  • Support configuration, content development, and administration of company’s online learning management system as it relates to sales training
  • Assist in the design, delivery and success of our annual sales conference (SKO)
  • Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
  • Act with cultural fluency and execution as we have a global team of sales professionals covering the US, Europe and APAC
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action
  • Develop trust and model open, candid, and respectful communication and collaborative teamwork

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience in sales role or with sales process and detailed understanding of sales actions, steps and competencies
  • Training or Organizational Development experience with emphasis in development and delivery of live, instructor-led, and web-based training programs and courses
  • Knowledge of content development including needs-based curriculum design, program planning, program delivery and evaluation
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to identify training needs, develop training content, and deliver training programs
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and web-based training and publishing applications
  • No more than 15-20% travel required to company locations and events
