Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a territory of our current client base of software companies for embedded analytics. You are a sales executive known managing and growing a client base for consistently beating quota and contributing knowledge and expertise to the sales team. You are a success driven self-starter, skilled at managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to preparing, facilitating and delivering online and onsite sales presentations, contract negotiations and closing the sale. You will also possess strong relationship building and territory/account management skills. You will report into the Division Vice President of Sales and will work in a remote capacity.

In this role, you will:

  • Create strategic, long-term relationships with corporate leaders across your territory.Nurture and expand the company's relationship with customer accounts in your defined territory.
  • Develop and execute sales plans and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas.
  • Conduct heavy prospecting of customers (phone, email, marketing campaigns, referrals, etc.) and coordinate with marketing department to qualify and identify leads.
  • Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle including product support and sales engineering.
  • Meet with and present value propositions to key clients and senior-level executives to negotiate and close deals.
  • Manage and track customer information and provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecasts in Salesforce: The Customer Company .
  • Remain highly knowledgeable of company products and target industries to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and support staff
  • Participate in team building and company-growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts, and customer care.
  • Develop and execute sales plans and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas.
  • Use a consultative approach to diagnose our customer's needs.
  • Remain highly knowledgeable of company products and target industries to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and support staff

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of software technology sales experience.
  • Demonstrated strength in cold calling to create a pipeline of companies, negotiation, financial and analytical skills
  • Proven history of securing new accounts, as well as growing sales across various other channels
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, - able to clearly and concisely articulate thought
  • Demonstrated strength in negotiation, financial and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of selling to the key audience of C-level professionals
  • Exhibits an overall polished, professional image
