ROLE SUMMARY:

We are delighted to now be recruiting for a new role into the group as we look to expand the provision and scale of our Camps and Exchange programmes by offering intense booster camps during school holidays as well as continuing to extend provision during summer camps.

We are looking to add robotics, coding, STEM, support classes for Pre Med, Pre Vet, Inat and Ucat to the provision at camps.

The Coordinator of Academic Programmes at Inspired Camps is a key role in the expansion of our global camps and as such we are looking to appoint into the role ASAP.

This role will ideally be based in London but can also be based remotely.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To recruit and lead a team of specialist teachers to plan, write and deliver academic programmes at Inspired camps throughout the academic year.
  • To support teacher delivery, through a strong working knowledge of high-quality teaching and learning
  • To manage inquires and enrolments of camps.
  • To drive the marketing of the camps globally.
  • To investigate the market need for camps throughout the year across our network of schools
  • To evaluate the effectiveness of camps and drive change following feedback.
  • To work with the CEO for Inspired Academy, exchanges and camps to drive strategy.
  • To work to extend provision, based on need and demand.
  • To manage the budgets (P&L) of all camps
  • To work with the international camp directors to integrate academic programmes to camps
  • To be flexible in the different needs at different schools
  • To work with Heads of school to add value through summer camp provision
  • To work with Heads of Boarding and Heads of Operations to prepare camps

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A qualified teacher, who deeply understands what great teaching and learning looks like.
  • An experience middle or senior leader within a school, who is looking for a change or a step up into a new start-up company within Inspired.
  • Experience of managing people and budgets
  • A deep understanding of the admissions and enrolment process
  • A good understanding of the complexities of working in schools
  • A flexible, hardworking, reflective and proactive leader
  • An experienced teacher, who deeply understands meta cognition and knows how to apply this to great teaching principles.
  • Organised and able to adapt the working day to the needs and demand of the role.
  • An ability to work online and in person.
  • A person who proactively seeks feedback and is driven by improvement
  • Good commercial acumen and the ability to convert student leads into confirmed places at our camps
  • A hunger to grow our business in this area and the vision to turn that hunger into reality
