ROLE SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Head of International B2B, the role will be responsible for implementing and delivering the business development strategy to established and start-up International Schools. It encompasses managing and supporting international business development activities to British International Schools (BIS), identifying and completing direct sales activity to our target market in line with B2B strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the Inspired Online Schools B2B team, you will be responsible for a defined sales target based on revenue contribution derived from sales to BIS from both new and existing partner schools.

  • Supporting the Head of International B2B to review, develop and implement international B2B strategy
  • Building and establishing effective and long-term partnership relationships with BIS
  • Developing information, ideas, and research to drive sales and tactical marketing initiatives
  • Accurately forecast sales and growth based on business opportunities
  • Developing effective working relationships at all levels with clients
  • Identify and deliver business opportunities within our target market(s)
  • Presenting regular performance data for the Head of International B2B
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring delivery of sales target in line with Company objectives and financial plans
  • Identifying new and continue to develop existing business opportunities, to enable the Company to meet the growth objectives
  • Support and contribute to marketing planning and fulfilment of international B2B campaigns
  • Attend and present at conferences and exhibitions
  • Maintaining and updating Dynamics of all lead, opportunity and contract conversions in accordance with the company’s defined new business and account management processes
  • Fulfilment of all new business development calls including online and face to face presentations and demonstrations to target and identified prospects
  • Manage existing clients, fielding queries and questions and identifying upsell opportunities for our products and services across our growing international client base

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

The International Business Partnership Manager will be an experienced and effective education business development professional. They will demonstrate a clear understanding of our products and services and how they can be applied to meet our clients and prospective client needs. They will have a demonstrable track record of successful and relevant sales to the British International School sector.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop tactical plans to support strategic objectives, identify, qualify and close new business opportunities and develop repeat revenue streams from key and strategic accounts.

Specifically, you will have: –

  • Graduate / NVQ level 5
  • Business development experience in a growth environment with a proven track record of key account management
  • Proven knowledge and experience of the Education (UK and International) sector including international accreditation, qualifications and the regulatory landscape
  • A demonstrable understanding of online learning industry and its application to the International schools sector
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into tangible service options
  • Strong analytical skills, with a good attention to detail, enabling them to make a valuable contribution to decisions relating to the development of Inspired Online Schools offering in the marketplace
  • Highly aware of the technology space and how future trends can be incorporated into education;
  • A flexible, highly energetic approach and the ability to thrive in a business with a fast changing, collaborative, delivery culture;
  • Confidence to communicate to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form good relationships both internally and externally with respective customers and partners
  • The ability to work independently where necessary but in a collaborative team environment where appropriate
