ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired is a rapidly growing global education group with its Head Office located in Alfragide, Portugal, alongside one of our flagship Inspired Schools, PaRK International School. Committed to academic excellence, we are on a remarkable journey to shape the future of education on a global scale.

Due to the constant growth of Inspired Education Group, in Portugal, we intend to recruit a Project Manager to join our team.

We are looking for someone with relevant experience in the desired area, results-oriented, demanding and with good work capacity. We offer this opportunity to join an excellent, young and dynamic team, as well as salary in accordance with the responsibility and role performed.

This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, be responsible for overseeing construction or renovation projects, guarantee all licensing needs and ensuring the successful integration of new facilities into the existing school network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Planning and Strategy: develop comprehensive plans and strategies for expansion projects to align with the growth and development goals of the Schools Group and create timelines, milestones, and project schedules to ensure timely completion of expansion initiatives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders including school administrators, local authorities, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of expansion projects.
• Budgeting and Resource Management: Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet project objectives within financial constraints.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and licensing needs related to construction and renovation projects.
• Construction Oversight: Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections, address issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track and within scope.
• Quality Control: Implement robust quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Integration and Handover: Coordinate the seamless integration of new facilities into the existing school network, ensuring operational readiness and minimal disruption to ongoing activities.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports, status updates, and documentation related to expansion projects for internal and external stakeholders.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Engineering Undergraduate or Masters degree from a leading university.
• Experience in managing fast paced but premium positioned resident, hotel or school construction projects.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Strong analytical skills, able to maintain a clear vision on cost and timeline impacts throughout project duration.
• Ability to work side by side with architect/ creative lead to carefully balance aesthetical & quality goals with cost restrictions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• AutoCad and gant tool skills required.
