Role Summary:
Communications plays an integral role in achieving Inspired’s considerable ambitions, which may include a potential IPO.
The Global Head of Communications, reporting to the Founder, Chairman and CEO, will be a trusted advisor to a highly ambitious, driven and dynamic leader. You will gain an intimate knowledge of the Inspired organisation from its centre. This will enable you to act as the organisation's voice for diverse audiences and stakeholder groups and operate as a subject-matter expert, bringing an entrepreneurial, resourceful spirit and hands-on approach to Inspired.
In this diverse, international organisation, your role will cover every corner of the globe, providing many opportunities for constant stimulation. Fostering strong relationships with C-Suite executives and Regional CEOs across the Inspired Group, you will become a proactive thought partner and the first port of call in a crisis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide world-class communications expertise and advice across the organisation, including effectively managing the Inspired central press office, creating and executing a strategic plan to build profile and exposure for Inspired and its Founder within premium corporate and consumer media.
- Ensure that inbound requests are dealt with in a manner that enhances press relations and Inspired’s profile.
- Plan and prepare the organisation for a potential founder-led IPO.
- Lead ‘crisis’ communications and response, ensuring that the appropriate messaging is conveyed internally and externally to quickly and effectively minimise any risk of reputational damage. More broadly, maintain a proactive programme of monitoring and reporting on reputational risk and recommending any required solutions, ensuring Inspired’s CEO and executive team have full visibility of emerging issues.
- Build and maintain a strong crisis and issues management process to ensure a clear action plan covers any incident. Provide a robust, internationally applicable framework for leaders across the organisation to follow during a crisis.
- Become a trusted advisor and provide reputation management counsel to the executive team, both proactively and in response to specific issues. Develop a reputation management playbook to be used across the business.
- Draft and publish various corporate communications on behalf of the organisation, including, but not limited to, school openings, key staff arrivals and departures, M&A announcements, groupwide initiatives, and major policy changes.
