ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure SME to assist with the design, implementation, and management of our global IT infrastructure. This role will oversee high-level network architecture using Cisco Meraki, provide BAU support, and manage a wide range of responsibilities including cloud services, identity and access management, device management, security compliance, and office IT support.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco Meraki networking, IT security practices, and infrastructure management, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, cloud platforms (Azure), SSL management, MDM solutions, and security frameworks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Cisco Meraki networks across multiple schools, covering wireless, switching, security, VLANs, and performance.
- Work with vendors and internal teams on connectivity and ISP needs.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, including access, MFA, and licensing.
- Oversee Azure for identity, performance, and cost.
- Manage identity tools like Azure AD, SSO, and Conditional Access.
- Maintain SSL certificates and MDM tools (Intune, Jamf).
- Enforce IT security policies and global compliance.
- Coordinate external security audits, penetration testing, and risk assessments.
- Lead efforts in external threat protection, endpoint security, and vulnerability remediation.
- Review system configs and permissions.
- Oversee threat protection, endpoint security, and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure safeguarding and data protection compliance.
- Provide IT support at London HQ, manage device setup and inventory.
- Work with international IT teams.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- 5+ years in infrastructure and security management roles.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki network technologies.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Hands-on experience with Azure.
- Proven knowledge of IAM, Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO.
- Experience managing MDM platforms (Intune, Jamf).
- Strong grasp of security protocols, frameworks, and compliance.
- Experience coordinating penetration testing and audits.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting (ex. PowerShell).
- Excellent troubleshooting and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience working in educational or multi-site environments.
