ROLE SUMMARY:

Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGSR) is a vibrant and community-oriented institution offering premium British-style and Moroccan education to both local and expatriate students. We are currently seeking an Arabic Teacher to inspire and support students in developing strong language skills and an appreciation for Arabic language and culture. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Moroccan curriculum (and KGSR’s holistic approach), fostering effective communication, literacy, and critical thinking.

The ideal candidate will create an engaging and supportive classroom environment while maintaining high standards of discipline and safeguarding. The post holder will also assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure academic growth and personal development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teaching and Pedagogy
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Arabic lessons across different grade levels.
  • Inspire a love for the Arabic language and culture among students.
  • Implement a variety of teaching strategies and innovative approaches to actively engage students and encourage participation.
• Student Progress and Assessment
  • Regularly assess student learning through tests, assignments, and continuous assessments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
  • Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Classroom Management
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding standards, and child protection guidelines.
• Collaboration and Contribution to School Life
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider academic team.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school activities.
  • Contribute to cultural and educational events that promote the Arabic language and culture.
