Insurity’s Next Senior Salesforce Administrator

The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the Salesforce platform to support business operations, including configuration, automation, and data integrity. This role requires advanced knowledge of Salesforce administration, strong expertise in CPQ solutions for complex quoting scenarios, and a foundational understanding of Apex to handle custom logic when needed. The position also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, compliance, and scalability. In addition, the candidate will lead various Salesforce related projects, support a team of Salesforce administrators during complex projects. The Candidate will also be assisting other Salesforce admins with challenging requests either by taking ownership or by coaching team members to build their capability for future tasks.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a passion for solving business challenges through technology. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable working with stakeholders across departments, and possess strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business language. A collaborative team player with leadership qualities, who enjoys mentoring others and fostering growth within the team, will fit perfectly. They should balance technical depth with practical business needs and have a mindset for continuous improvement.

What Our Senior Salesforce Administrator Will Do

  • Provide mentorship to team members
  • Provide exceptional employee support
  • Participate and refine business system requirements including estimates for completion
  • Support and administer the Enterprise Salesforce Instance, including Sales, Service, Experience Clouds
  • Provide ownership and regular updates of employee help desk issues including supporting users with best practice advice, until request has been resolved
  • Lead and/or be part of the enterprise-wide projects involving Salesforce changes
  • Evaluate, diagnose, research, analyze and provide solutions to problems encountered
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build strong working relationships with team members
  • Dependable, accountable, and responsive to employee and business needs; willingness to be on call and support critical issues that arise in the evening or on weekends
  • Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
  • Support M&A data imports from legacy systems to our core systems
  • Identify potential software issues, formalize steps to recreate these issues and document how to troubleshoot or fix
  • Create and maintain knowledgebase documentation, as well as standard operating procedures
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify problems and potential solutions
  • Implement and test complex business rules
  • Work with business users to identify impact and assist with test case development
  • Keep up to date with business system releases, features, and best practices
  • Perform or coordinate with software vendors when product support is needed
  • Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
