Insurity’s Next Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new leads and building relationships with prospective customers, primarily through outbound activities like cold calling, email outreach, and using tools such as Salesforce to create sales pipeline. The Business Development Representative (BDR) will qualify prospects against defined criteria, understand their pain points, and then schedule meetings or calls between those qualified leads and sales executives, while regularly reporting on their weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
What our Business Development Representative will do
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new prospects
- Identify and build trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Utilize Salesforce, cold calling, and email to generate pipeline
- Identify and understand prospect pain points, gather requirements, and correlate business value to prospect needs
- Qualify all leads based upon lead qualification criteria definitions
- Set up meetings or calls between prospects and sales executives
- Report to manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
- Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Who We’re Looking For
- Recommended 1-3 years of experience with a history of exceeding lead targets or Bachelor's degree in related field
