Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing the total reward strategy for the organization, taking into account the industry practices in line with the overall HR and business objectives to enable the attraction, motivation, and retention of employees across Interswitch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and continuously review and update a comprehensive, multi-faceted reward strategy for the organization to enable the attraction and retention of various segments of talent organization-wide.
  • Oversee budget preparation and ensure adherence to cost savings initiatives. Experience and knowledge of conducting remuneration surveys.
  • Formulate a clear vision for the Rewards practices and map out a clear and measurable roadmap to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with specified design principles, internal policies, and legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the calculation of people-related financials with a strong understanding of the concept of performance bonuses, profit share calculation, and Employee.
  • Research and gather insights from local and global Industry trends on total reward and use these to shape the reward strategy to position Interswitch as an industry leader and a great place to work.
  • Deliver complex analyses of HR reward data; identify key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.
  • Champion the delivery of the annual review; provide relevant payroll, market pay, and employee engagement analyses and insights; draft employee communications and management briefings; prepare line-management decision-making tools.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach the Total Rewards team, manage their performance, and identify opportunities to develop team members to increase the engagement and productivity of the team.

Academic Qualification(s)

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in any social science, humanities, Business Administration, Mathematics or Statistics

Professional Qualification(s)

  • Professional certification from reputable HR bodies (e.g., CIPM, CIPD, HRCI) will be an advantage.

Experience

  • 10 - 12 years of comprehensive experience in Reward Strategy development and implementation
  • Over 3 years experience in a similar leadership position.
  • Must possess strong analytical and reporting skills.
